SAWPA, in collaboration with the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians and Inland Southern California Climate Collaborative (ISC3), is anticipating the release of an RFP in November 2024, seeking proposals for the development of a Climate Adaptation and Resilience Plan (CARP) for the Santa Ana River Watershed (SARW). The anticipate submission deadline for interested vendors is mid-January 2025. The scope of work includes community-informed, stakeholder-driven development of the SARW CARP, encompassing a climate vulnerability assessment and engagement plan to ensure community participation. Emphasis will be placed on prioritizing adaptation strategies through robust stakeholder and community engagement, incorporating a multi-benefit approach.
