Representing Western Municipal Water District
Commissioner Dennstedt was appointed Commissioner to SAWPA Board of Commissioners on January 15, 2019.
Brenda Dennstedt began her term on the Western Municipal Water District board in January 2007. Ms. Dennstedt represents Division 3, which comprises Lake Mathews, city of Lake Elsinore, properties located south of Cajalco Road and west of the 215 Freeway, Temecula, Canyon Lake and Murrieta.
As a board member with the former Murrieta County Water District, which was merged with Western in late 2005, Ms. Dennstedt heads up Western’s Murrieta Advisory Committee.
She represents Western on several committees including Eastern Municipal Water District, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District and on the Ad Hoc Committee for Rancho California Water District. Director Dennstedt is also the representative for the Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG) and the alternate Association of California Water Agencies Joint Powers Authority (ACWA/JPA). In addition, she serves as the District’s alternate for the Western Riverside County Regional Wastewater Authority (WRCRWA) Board and March Joint Powers Authority Successor Agency Oversight Committee. Ms. Dennstedt also sits on Western’s Community and Government Affairs Committee, Finance and Executive committees.
